The icebreaker will take place on the first evening of the conference, in the conference venue (Medical Sciences Building)
ECR Networking Event – Tuesday 9th June
The traditional BPSC Early Career Researcher event will take place on the first evening of the conference at the Wardlaw Museum. This year, the event will take on a new format with a treasure-hunt themed experience. Participants will work together to solve puzzles, explore the museum and, most importantly, connect with fellow ECRs from across the planetary science community! The event will conclude on the Wardlaw Viewing terrace, which offers some of the best views in St Andrews.
We will be head across to the Wardlaw Museum directly from the Icebreaker at 6.45pm. You are welcome to either walk over with the group or meet us there. While drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and snacks will be available during the event, we have space booked out in the Rule from 8pm so you can continue to socialise over drinks and dinner (please bring your ID!).

Conference Dinner – Wednesday 10th June
The conference dinner will be held in the University’s College Hall on the evening of Wednesday 10th June. Places are limited and need to be booked before the dinner – ALL DELEGATES WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH AN INVITATION TO REGISTER FOR THE DINNER. If you haven’t registered for the conference, you will get the email invite as soon as you do! If you have not received this email, please get in touch at [email protected]
The dinner will be £35 for delegates and £25 for students. This includes a three-course meal, tea and coffee, as well as a ceilidh and entertainment from Funkeilidh (so get your dancing shoes on!). There’ll be a full bar available during the event, and all dietary requirements will be taken care of (please highlight these during sign-up!). Diners should arrive at College Hall at 7:00pm, for a 7:30pm start.
